Fire Safe Marin will have an informational booth at the Nicasio Country Fair offering the community an opportunity to engage directly with Ambassadors and ask questions about wildfire preparedness. We welcome you to come spin the "Wheel of Wildfire Wisdom"!
Organized by the NVFD Ladies Auxiliary, this free community event will feature live music from the Long Tom Bluegrass Band, a BBQ, a dunk tank, baby goats, face painting, fire trucks to climb on, a cake and pie stand, children’s games with prizes, a fabulous silent auction, local vendors and non-profits. Come and enjoy the fun! Proceeds will benefit the Nicasio Volunteer Fire Department.
Fire Safe Marin is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a fire-adapted community in Marin County. FSM provides educational programs, resources, and expertise to help residents, neighborhoods, and stakeholders prepare for wildfire and reduce fire hazards.
