We will do our best to fulfill requests received with less than five business days’ notice. Copies of documents are available in alternative formats upon request.

Join Ranger Gabe and the Marin Stargazers on Mount Burdell and watch the shadow of the Earth eclipse the Moon. Weather permitting, we'll see a 96% lunar eclipse through telescopes. Friendly dogs are welcome but must be leashed. Dress in layers, wear sturdy shoes, bring a red headlamp or flashlight, and binoculars if you have them. Be prepared for a 0.5-mile walk on uneven ground to and from the viewing area in the dark. Adverse weather or poor air quality may result in cancellation. Check the calendar or call (415) 473-2816 two hours before the event to confirm the status. Registration is required.
