Movies @ The Marin: Zoot Suit
The 1981 film Zoot Suit, based on Luis Valdez's play, dramatizes the real-life 1942 Sleepy Lagoon murder and the ensuing Zoot Suit Riots in Los Angeles. The movie follows Henry Reyna, a young Mexican-American man and his friends who are unjustly convicted of the murder due to racism and media sensationalism. Wiggles and Wonder Storytime
Join Ms. Amanda every Wednesday morning for a wiggly, giggly, all-ages, multilingual storytime! We'll read books, sing songs, share imaginative play, and learn something new every day. Open to ages 0-5 and caregivers.Wiggles and Wonder Storytime will end for the year on December 17 and return February 25.
