Event Description
Directions: Meet in the north parking lot at Stinson Beach. From Hwy 101 in Larkspur, take the exit for Sir Francis Drake Blvd west 20.4 miles to Olema. Turn left onto Hwy 1 and follow 13.6 miles; turn right at the Stinson Beach Parking GGNRA sign and park in the first lot on your right.
Coastal Cleanup Day is a statewide event dedicated to cleaning the shorelines, preventing trash from entering waterways, and raising awareness about the harmful effects of garbage in marine ecosystems. It is part of International Coastal Cleanup Day. Suitable for all ages. We'll provide snacks and water. Bring gloves and a water bottle. No pets (except service dogs) are allowed. Adverse weather or poor air quality may cancel; if in doubt, text or call (415) 763-2977 two hours before the event to confirm the status. Registration is required.
