Shovels & Rope with Nolan Taylor at Sweetwater

The beloved two-piece Shovels & Rope bring their raw, rollicking live sound and a brand-new album to Mill Valley.
Americana favoritesShovels & Roperoll into Sweetwater Music Hall in Mill Valley for a Wednesday-night show, withNolan Taylorjoining the bill.

The duo arrives with a new album born from a strange series of late-night sounds that got them thinking about unseen forces and the feeling that something might be answering back. They made it with one simple rule: every song had to be playable live by just the two of them, which makes this record their truest snapshot yet of what they sound like on stage. Expect the stomping, harmony-rich, swap-the-instruments energy that has made their shows a must-see for years. Doors open at 7 PM and the show starts at 8 PM; all ages are welcome. This one should be popular, so grab your tickets early.
