Kick off your day with an exhilarating walk in the woods! Join Ranger Erica for a guided adventure on the Deer Island Loop Trail. Let's uncover the area's captivating history together while soaking in the beauty of the sunrise. Distance: 1.8 miles; elevation gain: 130 feet. Appropriate for all ages. Friendly dogs are welcome but must be leashed. Dress in layers, wear sturdy shoes, bring water, and a snack. Adverse weather or poor air quality may result in cancellation. Check the calendar or call (415) 473-2816 two hours before the event to confirm the status. Registration is required.
