Coastal Cleanup at Lagoon Park

Meet at the Lagoon Park playground. From Hwy 101 in San Rafael, take the exit for North San Pedro Rd (if coming from Hwy 101 North, follow the signs to the Civic Center and to North San Pedro Rd). Once on North San Pedro Rd, turn left at stop light onto Civic Center Drive and follow for 0.2 mile. Turn right into the "Juror Lot” parking area and park beside the playground.

Coastal Cleanup Day is a statewide event dedicated to cleaning the shorelines, preventing trash from entering waterways, and raising awareness about the harmful effects of garbage in marine ecosystems. It is part of International Coastal Cleanup Day. Suitable for all ages. We'll provide snacks and water. Bring gloves and a water bottle. No pets (except service dogs) are allowed. Adverse weather or poor air quality may cancel. Check the calendar or call/text (415) 763-2977 two hours before the event to confirm the status. Registration is required.
