Civic Center Landscape Stewardship
From Hwy 101 in San Rafael, take the North San Pedro Rd exit (if coming from Hwy 101 North, follow the signs to the Civic Center and to North San Pedro Rd). Once on North San Pedro Rd, turn left at stop light onto Civic Center Drive and follow for 0.5 mile. Turn right onto Avenue of the Flags; parking is available in the lot adjacent to Civic Center Dr and in front of the auditorium.

Home to Marin County's public workforce, large-scale public events throughout the year, and the iconic architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright, the Civic Center campus is rich in history, beauty, and purpose. Join us as we work to maintain various landscaped areas across the campus. Projects will vary, including weeding, pruning, litter pickup, soil amendment work, and mulching. Appropriate for ages 12 and older. We'll provide snacks and water. Bring gloves and a water bottle. No pets (except service dogs) are allowed. Adverse weather or poor air quality may result in cancellation. Check the calendar or call/text (415) 763-2977 two hours before the event to confirm the status. Registration is required.
