Meet at the Top of Marinda Drive in Fairfax. From Sir Francis Drake Blvd, turn right at St. Rita's Church (100 Marinda Drive). Park at the top of the hill along the road.

The Fairfax Open Space Committee is hosting a community volunteer day at the Wall Property to remove and pile invasive French and Scotch broom. Appropriate for ages 14 and older; parent/guardian permission required for participants under the age of 18. The committee will provide energy bars and water. Participants should check out an “extractigator” from the Marin County Library, available one week in advance (this is a heavy tool). Bring gloves, a hat, and sunscreen. Wear long pants, long sleeves, and sturdy shoes. No pets (except service dogs) are allowed.
