County Services Closer to Home makes it easier for residents in West Marin to access services without needing to travel to the Civic Center in San Rafael.
Directions:

From Hwy 101 in Larkspur, take the Sir Francis Drake Blvd exit and head west 20.4 miles to Olema. Turn left onto Hwy 1 and follow for 9.1 miles. Turn right onto Olema-Bolinas Rd, then left to stay on Olema-Bolinas Rd, and right onto Brighton Ave.

Not sure what to do with your summer? Come hang with us! Try-It Tuesdays are drop-in hands-on programs aimed at students entering 4th through 8th grade.  All materials provided, no registration necessary. This Tuesday, we'll be reading The Girl Who Painted Butterflies and practicing our nature drawing skills!  If the weather cooperates, we'll also break out the cyanotype kit.  We'll bring the paper and pencils, you bring the ideas! Directions: Meet at the Vista Point Group Picnic Area parking lot in Tomales Bay State Park (not the Hearts Desire Beach parking lot). From Hwy 101 in Larkspur, take the exit for Sir Francis Drake Blvd west 20.4 miles to Olema. Turn right onto Hwy 1 and go 2 miles. Turn left onto Sir Francis Drake Blvd and go 6.4 miles to Pierce Point Rd. Turn right onto Pierce Point Rd, follow 1.2 miles. Turn right onto Hearts Desire Rd at the Tomales Bay State Park entrance. Continue 1.5 miles to the Vista Point Group Picnic Area parking lot at the end of Heart's Desire Rd. (DO NOT turn left for the main Hearts Desire Beach parking lot.
Directions:

Meet in front of the Veterans Memorial Auditorium. From Hwy 101 in San Rafael, take the exit for North San Pedro Rd (if coming from Hwy 101 North, follow signs to the Civic Center, then to North San Pedro Rd). Once on North San Pedro Rd, turn left at the stoplight onto Civic Center Drive and follow for 0.5 mile. Turn right onto Avenue of the Flags. Parking is available in the lot adjacent to Civic Center Dr and in front of the auditorium.

The Marin County Fair is a one price gate. All prices include all live entertainment, including headline concerts on the Island Stage*, 28 carnival rides, spectacular nightly fireworks, and exciting exhibits and experiences you can only find at the Marin County Fair.  
Directions: Meet at the trailhead on Vineyard Rd in Novato. From Hwy 101 in Novato, take the exit for San Marin Dr west 2.7 miles. San Marin Dr turns into Sutro Ave at Novato Blvd. Follow Sutro Ave 1 mile, turn right at Vineyard Rd, and follow 1 mile. Trailhead is on the left where the paved road becomes a dirt road.
